Situated on a site with a high groundwater table and complex subsurface soil types, the Laigo Way project presented a number of challenges that our dedicated Geotechnical team were keen to overcome.

By providing on-site field works and management, and a final geotechnical report, strong foundations were formed for the civil team to progress. This included items such as design and documentation for the bulk earthworks, pad levels, retaining walls, and stormwater management. In addition to this, the team also carried out the internal sewer and water reticulation, providing the client with full support for Water Corporation approvals.
The layout of the development consisted of a major spine road, which was designed using 3D modelling software and included stormwater drainage measures and staggered parking facilities.
This project is a great example of our multi-disciplinary capabilities and in-house project management. The Structural and Building Services teams provided design and documentation for the multi-storey residential properties, the design for the property foundations and also the municipal services such as electrical, communications and gas.
