Commissioned in 2008, this massive, state-of-the-art clay brickworks plant boasts the ability to produce up to 110 million bricks per year.

At the time of construction the plant was, brick for brick, the greenest brick-making facility in Australia and had the lowest carbon emissions of any similar facility in the world. Structerre provided technical assistance in relation to support of the extensive, varied, and oft-times extremely heavy equipment used inside the plant. We provided highly-detailed structural documentation for machinery foundations, high-strength / high-load concrete slabs, pits, service supports, retaining / bund walls, rail track supports, kiln supports and hopper supports. Since the initial construction of the Brikmakers Plant, we have been engaged by BGC to detail many other miscellaneous concrete and steel structures, and have provided on-going technical support in relation to maintenance and upgrade of their impressive asset.
